4. Frass (Termite Droppings)

While more common with drywood termites, you may sometimes find small piles of wood-colored droppings near infested areas.

5. Damaged Wood

Look for wood that appears crushed at structural bearing points. Termite damage can sometimes be detected by probing wood with a screwdriver or similar tool.
